How to Find a BMW Wheel Part Number
The most useful identifier is usually on the rear face of the wheel. It may be dirty, partially obscured, or grouped with unrelated casting and production marks.
1. Remove the wheel only when safe
Do not work beneath an unsupported vehicle. If removal is unfamiliar, ask a qualified shop to photograph the rear markings during service.
2. Capture the full marking area
Use even light and take an overview plus close-ups. Keep all digits visible; BMW part numbers are commonly stored as eleven digits even when spacing is used.
3. Cross-check dimensions
Confirm that the part-number result agrees with the stamped width, diameter, ET, design, and axle position. A mismatch needs review.
